Terrorism and Substate Violence

Abigail Hundley completed her undergraduate studies at Mercer University in the spring of 2017, where she pursued a double major in international relations and political science. In SSP, she is focusing on terrorism and sub-state violence, and has thrived over the past year from the many opportunities Georgetown offers to learn from the experts in the field. As a full-time student, she’s pursued two year-long internships while taking classes, first with the Rumsfeld Foundation and currently with the Department of Homeland Security. Aside from finding a strong sense of camaraderie and brilliant, engaging faculty in SSP, Abigail loves the opportunity to interact with prospective and incoming students through the Admissions Ambassador program. Fun fact: She is the biggest Washington Capitals fan, so watching the team win the Stanley Cup was an awesome experience!
