Jessica Gershuny

Jessica Gershuny is responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions process including conducting informational interviews with prospective applicants, hosting online chats for prospective and admitted students, representing the Security Studies Program at admissions fairs and other forums, and reviewing prospective student applications.

Jessica Gershuny is the Director of Admissions for the Security Studies Program and the Recruitment Lead for the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions process including prospective and admitted student engagement, representation of the SSP at admissions fairs and other forums, and application management.

Jessica previously served as the Assistant Director of Professional Development & Outreach and has a background in recruiting and career development for the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She holds certifications in Federal Career Coaching, Federal Job Search Training, and Graduate University Career Coaching. Jessica holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BA from Indiana University in Political Science and Jewish Studies. She is currently an MA Candidate in Georgetown’s Learning, Design, and Technology Program.
