Kristina Drye is a second-year SSP student concentrating in International Security, currently serving as Research Assistant for Giant Oak. She previously was the Program and Membership Manager at the World Affairs Council of Charlotte from 2015-2017. During her time at SSP, Kristina has also interned with the Embassy of Australia and the European Parliament Liaison Office to the U.S. Congress. Kristina chose SSP because she wanted the most academically rigorous environment in which to answer the questions she had about the interaction of peace processes and security policy in post-conflict zones. She wanted a program that provided substantive skills for employment post-graduation, as well as analytical and theoretical frameworks through which to process policy decisions. Following the program, Kristina would like to be involved in diplomacy and conflict/peace policy.
