Maura Gregory Kasper is the Associate Director of Faculty Services for the Security Studies Program. Maura provides administrative support for all SSP core and adjunct faculty, as well as visiting researchers. She also works closely with the SSP staff and faculty to create the Security Studies course plan.

Maura holds a B.S. in Communications and Spanish from James Madison University and an M.A. from Georgetown's Latin American Studies program. She began her career in International Education as a Study Abroad Advisor at Georgetown University, then shifted to academically advising students in the School of Nursing and Health Studies and the BSFS Dean's office. She is returning to Georgetown full-time after spending 4+ years in a part-time capacity in Campus Ministry where she had the wonderful opportunity to serve as wedding coordinator for many of her advisees' weddings. Maura is a cantor at Dahlgren chapel and a Soprano with the Washington Master Chorale.
