Belen Bianco

Belen is an international student, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved to D.C. to pursue her Master’s degree in July 2018. Prior to moving to the United States, Belen served as assistant to the Deputy Secretary of Nuclear Energy in Argentina, while also working as Corporate Strategy Deputy Manager at Dioxitek, a nuclear fuel cycle company. She specializes in nuclear security, non-proliferation and new weapons technologies. She graduated from Universidad de San Andres in her home country in 2014 with a Bachelor's in International Relations, and has worked for both the private and public sectors since then. On campus, she has worked as a Research Assistant to Dr. Matt Kroenig, Associate Professor of the Department of Government and the Walsh School of Foreign Service.
