Gabe Dearman
Terrorism and Substate Violence
Major Gabe Dearman is a Wayne A. Downing Scholar and a Research Fellow at the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point. He is an active-duty Army Officer from Mississippi, and a second-generation artilleryman. He has worked in a variety of positions in conventional and special operations units. Most recently, Gabe served as the Fire Support Officer for 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. His service includes eight deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Freedom’s Sentinel. Gabe lives in Burke, VA with his wife Breanna and their two sons, Gus and Sam.
