Why CSS Anchor

Why CSS

I chose SSP for its unique course structure and the fantastic faculty. Given my career aspirations, I felt that Georgetown University — and, by extension, Washington, DC — is the optimal place to be for networking and skill development in the field of international security.

FAQs Anchor

FAQs

I’m an international student. What’s different?

The application process for international applicants is the same as for United States citizens and permanent residents. Note that you may have different standardized testing requirements depending on where you completed your previous degree.

Are specific languages required for admission?

International applicants must provide a certified English translation of their official transcript from their undergraduate (and, if applicable, graduate) university. Certified translations must be accompanied by the original documentation. International applicants are not required to use World Education Services (WES) or any credential evaluation services that are members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), since all international grades are evaluated based on the scale upon which the applicant was graded.

What financial resources are available for international students?

The cost breakdown based on 2023-24 Tuition Rates, which are subject to change in future academic years.

Total Cost of Degree: $88,272

International students are eligible for merit-based funding, as long as they complete their application by the Priority Deadline. See our Financial Aid page for more information about aid offered by SSP, as well as information about outside funding opportunities.
